The Sexiest Men Alive's Best Hair

It's that time of year again — and no, I'm not talking about the holidays. According to Just Jared, People's 2015 Sexiest Man Alive will be announced Tuesday night during Jimmy Kimmel Live!, so now we get to wonder: Who is going to take the title away from hottie Chris Hemsworth? We still have a few hours of anticipation to go, so it seems only fitting to look back and remember the best of the best (or, rather, the sexiest of the sexy) of past title-holders. But in this case, let's rank them by hair.

Confession: I'm a hair girl. Eyes, smile, body, yeah, they're all nice, but I have a weakness for great hair on men, so in my opinion (and I'm probably not alone on this), hair is definitely an important criteria to consider when choosing a Sexiest Man Alive. While some past winners have definitely scored A+'s in the hair arena (hello, Bradley Coopers's flowing curls), others haven't necessarily shined as much in this department (Adam Levine is hot, but his hair is all over the place, IMO). So while we wait to see who is going to take the title this year (and just how his hair will stack up), let's take a look back at the past winners and rank them by hair amazingness.

1. Brad Pitt

Hands down, Pitt has one of the best heads of hair in Hollywood. And if you don't believe me, his double win (he was named Sexiest Man Alive in 1995 and 2000) says it all.

2. Bradley Cooper

TBH the real star of The Hangover is Bradley Cooper's hair.

3. Matthew McConaughey

Literally, every girl wanted to be Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, riding with him on that motorcycle, with his hair blowing in the wind...

4. Chris Hemsworth

That whole surfer hair thing = ah-maze.

5. John F. Kennedy Jr.

The 1988 winner's thick, dark hair gave serious cred to the phrase "tall, dark, and handsome."

6. Pierce Brosnan

It's a requirement of James Bond to have fantastic hair. Obviously.

7. Jude Law

Say what you want about Jude Law's hair now, but when he held the title back in 2004, his hair game was on point. Need convincing? Just rewatch The Talented Mr. Ripley or The Holiday.

He's Indiana Jones and Hans Solo — don't argue.

It doesn't matter what color it is, his hair game is still strong.

Everyone knows one of the best things about a bad boy is his hair.

His hair might be on the shorter side, but if you prefer the whole clean-cut vibe, Channing Tatum totally nails it.
