For everyone and anyone who has ever griped about not wanting to get too gussied up, you have Sandra Bullock to thank for your new “going out” combo. A sleek, low-slung ponytail paired with a muted berry lip and a good coat of mascara does wonders for looking polished without the effort.

The tuck-under-faux-bob is in full effect, and of course, Cate Blanchett made it look like the most regal thing ever.

Lupita Nyong’o wore only a swipe of gold eyeshadow, subtle enough that it made an impression, but not so disco-era heavy that you’re wondering where she went wrong. Bottom line: a little gold eyeshadow goes a long way, and Lupita continues to be really cool and awesome.

Zoe Saldana’s ballerina bun was sweet, but the real winner here was the sparkly star hair pin. A truly random accent to go along with her bold Prabal Gurung dress — proving once more that she can really wear almost anything.

Emma Watson rarely strays from her less-is-more makeup mantra, but to slightly spice things up, she wore a noticeably pinker lip shade. And it was noticeably awesome.
