Britney Spears Quotes Herself With Pink Booties

Self-referencing fashion can be as obnoxious as referring to oneself in the first person. Or it can be incredibly cute and endearing. The latter is most definitely the case when it comes to Britney Spears' glittery pink booties, which come inscribed with the words "Britney" and "Bitch" for all the world to see. I'm not gonna lie. I squealed with glee when I saw these babies.

First off, the booties are blingy and sparkly, encrusted with tons of pink crystals. They are open-toed, too. They are majorly glam as is. But they also have an added and fabulous touch.

The word "Britney" is spelled out in black crystals on one bootie, while the same happens with the word "Bitch" on the other. It's a reference to her infamous statement, "It's Britney, bitch," from her smash hit "Gimme More." That simple phrase went on to become a much-repeated pop culture saying and Brit Brit herself has used it in other songs.

Now it's immortalized on a pair of killer shoes because #fashion.

'90s style queen Spears isn't the only one to rock blingy and self-referential accessories. Kourtney Kardashian carries an iPhone case with her three kids' names inscribed in gold on the back.

Are you ready for "Britney Bitch" booties? Yeah you are!

Did you squeal, too? It's OK to admit it if you did. Brit Brit could wear these on stage or on a red carpet with an LBD. She could also swap out her beloved platform flip flops and wear these with cut-off jean shorts —another of her style sigs— on one of her oft-photographed Starbucks runs. Sure, these shoes would be impractical, but they would also be way glam.

Spears has been on point with her footwear as of late. This black and gold, strapped roped pair was killer. She went pedi-less, too.

Her shoes often sparkle.

She wore these patent leather, open-toe, high ankle booties to the VMAs in 2011. I have a love-hate relationship with them. I feel like they are a bit too high and therefore shorten her leg. But I love the glossy finish, the open toe, and the rock 'n' roll vibe even more.

When you see the whole ensemble, it leads to a "Whoa" moment! The sparkly LBD and the sexy, shiny shoes were aces.

Those pink glittery "Britney Bitch" boots were likely custom made for Spears. But if you want to make your own glittery, Galaxy shoes, watch the video below. It's super easy.
