Rihanna's PUMA Creepers BTS Video Is Here

by Marc Cuenco

Of course it sold out. After the huge announcement that new Rihanna x PUMA Creeper colors were released, the highly coveted footwear have yet again disappeared into the hands of those fortunate enough to score a pair. For the rest of us, at least there's now a behind-the-scenes video of Rih's PUMA Creepers ad that is sort of a consolation prize. We might not have gotten the shoe designed by the fashionable pop star (again), but we can watch how those amazing ads were made.

PUMA released the BTS clip of Rihanna and Travis Scott at their photoshoot on the same day that the new colorways debuted. The video begins with various shots of Scott modeling the black and white, and tan version of the trendy kicks. He is joined by Rih, PUMA's creative director, around the 10 second mark. They're in coordinating denim outfits, but the ANTI singer is positioned above the rapper, owning the shot like the boss that she is. The duo then dances around a white background (I tell myself that an unreleased song from Rihanna's new album is playing in the background) followed by more shots of Scott posing and a photographer directing them. The camera then pans down to their feet and the viewers see the new Rihanna x PUMA Creeper colors: white/gum and the pink/green. I've screen-capped a few stunning images from the video:

No disrespect to the PUMA Creepers, but how can anyone focus on shoes when Rihanna's in the room?

Rih even goes behind the camera during the shoot, probably making sure that everything looks perfect.

She looks fierce, the sky is blue, etc.

Better luck next time, folks.
