9 Ways To Wear Your Love For Christmas Classics

by Alexa Tucker

It's almost time to break out the Christmas movies, everyone. Hot chocolate and popcorn are a must for this season's inaugural holiday movie night, of course, but why not take your love a step further and rock clothes and accessories inspired by classic Christmas movies? After all, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear — and adding a touch of your favorite holiday movie to your wardrobe with pride.

Everyone's favorite holiday films have been collecting dust since last December, but it's time to dig through that disc drawer and set your DVR for ABC Family's 25 Days Of Christmas highlights. Everyone's got a favorite: Whether you're a Christmas Story kind of girl or a longtime fan of The Santa Clause, chances are, you've got a few movies you watch over and over again every season.

Wearing pieces inspired by your fave movie is a great way to celebrate when you (unfortunately) can't be parked in front of the TV. Whether you're sporting a cinematic sweater or hitting the sheets in Christmas movie PJs, watching holiday films isn't the only way to celebrate your love for them.

Here are nine Christmas classic-inspired clothes and accessories for movie buffs and Christmas fanatics alike.

SANTA! Pajamas

BP. Undercover Holiday Sleep Set, $48, Nordstrom

Classic and cozy meets hilarious in this Elf-inspired pajama set.

Clarisse Polka Dot Bow

Red Polka Dot Bow Hair Clip, $5, Claires

"She thinks I'm cuuuuuute!" Rudolph's lady love was the cute one, though, in her red polka dot bow. Bonus points for ultra-long false eyelashes.

Cindy Lou Who Headband

Cindy Lou Who Anntenae and Bow Photo Prop, $15, Etsy

I never really understood the functionality of animated Cindy's wire headband in How The Grinch Stole Christmas, but there's no denying she was absolutely precious. Look how cute!

Bumble Hat

Bumble Crochet Hat, $29, Etsy

In case you want to go on the, well, scarier side of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, this hat will do the trick (and keep your noggin warm.)

The Santa Clause Onesie

Red Dropseat Pajamas, $60, Pajamagram

In case you're not into the full-on Saint Nick costume, this onesie will satisfy your love for The Santa Clause. The best part? The butt flap can be personalized. Yasss.

Home Alone Sweater

Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal Sweater, $21, Etsy

This classic line speaks for itself.

Buddy The Elf Tank

Buddy The Elf Biker Tank, $28, Society 6

Because one Elf item is never enough. The pajamas for night, the tank for day, right?

A Christmas Story Charm Bracelet

A Christmas Story Charm Bracelet, $15, Red Rider Leg Lamps

This Christmas Story charm bracelet has all of the film's icon — Ralphie's pink bunny suit, the Red Ryder BB Gun, and, of course, the leg lamp. Stack it in some stylish silver cuffs and bangles for a subtle holiday touch.

Griswold Family Christmas Tee

Juniors' National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Tee, $10, Kohls

My personal favorite Christmas movie, this edition of Vacation just never gets old. Who wouldn't want a good old-fashioned Griswold family Christmas?
