Alessandra Ambrosio Debuted A New Hairdo...

by Sienna Fantozzi

The haircut I never thought would happen has actually happened, ladies and gents: Alessandra Ambrosio got a lob, according to People. Could this mean the classic "Victoria's Secret hair" mold is finally going to be broken?

Victoria's Secret has always been known for their models with long, flowing, beachy, wavy hair. I mean, the style is so infamous, it's spawned hundreds of YouTube tutorials, Pinterest inspiration boards, and girls bringing printed out pictures to their hairstylists for look-a-like cuts — but it seems like we might be in for a bit of a shake-up. The 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show did something groundbreaking by having a model walk the runway with natural hair, and now angel Alessandra Ambrosio has gone and chopped her long hair off. I don't know if this actually reflects on the direction VS hair is going, but regardless, she looks ah-mazing.

The supermodel showed off her newly chopped lob on Instagram on Tuesday, showing a before shot of her in the chair (captioned "ch-ch-ch-ch-changes") and then the finished product, a textured, collar bone length lob. Celebrity hairstylist Frankie Foye gets the creds for this seriously covetable chop. I think we've got a new picture print out to bring with us to the salons...

Oh, the anticipation.

If anything, the shorter hair actually gives her more volume, so it looks more sexy bed-head than it did when it was long. Ambrosio hasn't ever had hair this short before, but she has alternated between various lengths of long, going from medium...

She can rock any style, but personally, I think the lob is her best one yet. A change has been a long time coming!
