9 Short Hairstyles Harry Would Look Amaze With

I have literally no shame over the fact that I'm a One Direction fan. More specifically, a Harry Styles fan. Even more specifically, a Harry Styles' hair fan. I have a thing for long hair, so I fell in love with Styles' long, curly locks the first time I saw him. However, even I'll admit — his hair has reached new heights (er, rather, lengths), as of late, and he might have gone a few inches past the point of cute. But short hair doesn't have to mean buzz cut, and there are plenty of floppy, shaggy shorter hairstyles Harry Styles could consider. Just hoping to spark some inspiration, here.

I think we can all admit the 21-year-old heartthrob has one of the best heads of hair in Hollywood. I mean, clearly, I'm not the only one who fell for that long-haired, slicked back, James Dean thing — but Harry's hair has just kept growing. And growing. And growing. And now I'm feeling like we've reached the point of no return and there is no end to how long his hair is going to get. As someone with long hair myself, I get the fear-of-scissors-coming-near-me thing, but Harry is a pretty darn attractive guy, and he doesn't need all that hair. So maybe it's time for a little (or big) trim. Just before things get really out of hand, and all.

Personally, I think these nine short(er) hairstyles would look ah-mazing on Mr. Styles.

1. Bradley Cooper

TBH the reason I even saw The Hangover was for Bradley Cooper's hair. It's still long, but not overly so, and can be groomed to look polished. If Harry doesn't want to go too short too soon, this is a good transitory cut for him.

2. Liam Hemsworth

This guy is seriously next-level attractive — shorter hair and all. The style is still long enough to be shaggy, though, and if Harry is missing all that hair, he could always grow facial hair.

3. Kit Harington

Again, it's long, but not out-of-control. Also, who wouldn't want to steal Jon Snow's style?

4. Justin Timberlake

Who better to take inspiration from than a guy who cut his famously long, boy-bander locks, too?

5. Chris Hemsworth

The Hemsworth brothers' hair game is on point. Plus, Chris was the Sexiest Man Alive.

6. Jamie Dornan

OK, Harry, are you seeing how hot short hair can be?

7. Sam Claflin

R.I.P. Finnick.

8. Orlando Bloom

I mean, his hair was considered scruffy enough to play a pirate, so it should work for Harry.

9. Marcus Mumford

Proof that you can still rock with shorter hair.
