Tyra Banks Brings Bedroom Sexy to the Red Carpet

She may be annoying and we may question her sanity at times, but whatever she's doing, supermodel Tyra Banks looks good doing it. And she looked better than ever at Tuesday's event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Practically sizzling in a body-hugging, lingerie-inspired LBD, bombshell hair, and a smoky “smize,” Banks definitely brought back memories of her days as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and two-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl.

The America's Next Top Model creator joins a long list of celebrities who have been rocking the lingerie look lately, including actress Adelaide Kane — who donned a lacy white Rhea Costa dress at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards — and Selena Gomez, who stunned in this corset gown at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Banks’s sexy lace-negligee look is rumored to be the first of many seductive outfits the model and businesswoman plans to wear for the foreseeable future. An unnamed source told RadarOnline.com that Banks is embarking on a “Kim Kardashian-style makeover” full of alluring ensembles à la yesterday’s little black number. Whether that’s true or not, we’ll have to wait and see, but if it means more amazing outfits that don’t involve insane jumpsuits, we could get down with that.

Style makeover or not, Banks has really improved her look over the last several months, opting for sleek-and-polished dresses rather than sloppy messes like high-waisted suspenders. Maybe that’s what happens when you start attending Harvard. (Yeah, we can’t believe she did that either.)

Her new look could also be thanks to a recent partnership with Special K, in which Banks has set out on a mission to help women fight “fat talk” and feel more confident in their bodies, no matter what size they are. After being called fat on a number of magazine covers just years ago, Banks has made it a priority to proudly flaunt her curves and encourage other women to do the same. She recently told Metro:

Body image is something that’s been important to me for a very long time. … So when people were saying I was fat and gross and disgusting, they weren’t just saying it about me. They were saying it about any woman whose body looked like mine.

It’s clear now that Banks is putting those critics to shame. And with more looks like this one, we’re pretty sure she won’t be hearing “fat talk” anytime soon.
