Rachel's Sheer Jumpsuit Is So Chic

If you've got holiday parties coming up this season and aren't really a fan of party dresses, or just want to switch it up from the usual, then you might want to look at Rachel McAdams's sheer jumpsuit for inspiration. According to US Weekly, the actress attended the 25th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, and demonstrated how to perfectly nail anti-dress holiday dressing.

The Spotlight star has worn a lot of pretty great outfits in her time, but her choice for the event in New York City on Monday was by far one of my favorites. McAdams wore a black Noam Hanoch jumpsuit with sheer panels. If you're thinking a black one-piece sounds pretty basic, trust me — this is anything but. She looks so freaking chic.

The 37-year-old actress paired her jumpsuit with black patent Christian Louboutin pumps, but kept the rest of her accessories minimal. This look is all about that one-piece, after all. Her hair and makeup were on point, though, with cherry red lipstick (perfect for the holidays), and her blonde bob worn in a messy/sexy deep side part. It's polished, but still with a bit of an edge, and would make a great alternative to a dress at a holiday party.

The bustier with the sheer overlay is gorgeous, and perfectly blends elegant and sexy.
