15 Festive Holiday Lattes You Can Make At Home

by Rebecca Deczynski

With the season of peppermint mochas and gingerbread lattes upon us, it’s nearly impossible to go a day without craving some sort of festive coffee beverage. So instead of opting for your usual cappuccinos or mochas, consider indulging in some different holiday latte recipes. Because when temperatures drop, there is nothing like an especially indulgent (and caffeinated) drink to get us through our extensive holiday shopping list.

When I'm on the go, I'm admittedly very prone to stopping into coffee shops to get my fix. I can be quite loyal to my salted caramel mochas and seasonal peppermint mochas, even if that means digging into holiday funds to make my coffee break as festive as possible. But you don’t need to rely on a barista for a holiday drink that will get you amped. There are plenty of ways to whip up lattes at home that combine all the best flavors of the season, from eggnog to gingerbread to classic chocolate.

Looking to try your hand as a barista? These drinks are the perfect place to start. I guarantee you’ll be in for a treat — and hey, you can spend the money on something nice for yourself, your friends, or your family. It is giving season, after all.
