'90s Kids Will Love Moschino's Latest

by Kali Borovic

First came Spongebob, then Barbie, and now Jeremy Scott's created yet another fashion line based on a favorite fictional character. Teaming up with Nintendo, Moschino has created a Super Mario-inspired collection to celebrate the game's 30th anniversary. Because nothing says I'm finally 30 like a high fashion collaboration, right?

I can remember the good 'ole days of playing this game on my bright green GameBoy, and now the little mustache man can hop right into my closet, too. Filled with bright colored sweaters, quirky tee shirts, and printed bags, the Super Moschino collection will bring a smile to every '90s kids' face. This pop culture icon-themed clothing collection is here just in time for the holidays, so if you're looking for the perfect gift for the geek-chic girl in your life, you're in luck.

Although it's not exactly clear how many piece are in the Super Moschino collection, we'll find out for sure on December 8th. The coin-covered bags, graphic flying Mario tees, and brightly colored sweaters will be available on the Moschino site as well as select store worldwide. According to Fashionista, Mario isn't the only character getting the high-fashion treatment – Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Bowser and more will also be appearing in the clothing and accessories range.

The plain white tee is being completely reinvented by designer.

Consider these earrings officially on my Christmas list.

These bags are every '90s kids' dream.
