Taylor Swift & Blake Lively Are Twinning

The Taylor Swift Squad likely has a new member and she's as blonde, as beautiful, and as well-dressed as the leader herself. Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were hanging out while Down Under in Australia and the ladies were twinning in high-waisted short shorts. Are they now BFFs? Perhaps. But they are dressing alike and their similar outfits were cute and (somewhat) casual for a day of roller coasters and kangaroo selfies.

Swift and Lively have quite a bit in common. Both have curly golden and curly locks and gorgeous faces. Both ladies are crazy talented and have achieved major success in their respective disciplines. They were born in the late '80s, with Lively arriving in 1987 to Swift's 1989, of course. Another random characteristic they have in common? Swift and Lively are both leggy at 5'10".

They showed off their stems in statement shorts, which they styled differently. Swift wore black shorts with a silky, cream-colored tank and chunky heeled brown booties, while Lively opted for jean shorts, a graphic tee, and classic sneakers. Lively, who had been rocking "bronde" hair, was a bit more dressed down than Swift. But both looks slayed.

"All-American Girl" style was in full effect with Swift and Lively. Are you ready for "Blaylor?" Or are they "Take?"

Even though we're approaching winter, Swift and Lively make a case for structured shorts. Spring and summer will be here before you know it, so start planning ahead and start shopping for similar shorts.

These metallic, high-waisted black shorts have texture and sheen, which elevates them beyond "just another pair of summer shorts." You can dress them up or down. Swift's flimsy top and boots made her outfit feel a bit more glamsual than straight up street or casual. A pair like this can be worn with a tailored top or a flowy, voluminous blouse and heels for a glam presentation. ($20, forever21.com)

Lively's shorts had a cuff, like this beautifully distressed American Eagle Outfitters pair. These are a summer staple, with a higher cut and a vintage wash. You could pair them with any top —long, cropped, fitted, or loose— and classic kicks and or espadrilles you'll be eternally in style in summer. ($34, ae.com)

I know, it's a bit early to be thinking "Summer!" But honestly, there's nothing wrong with thinking a season ahead and taking inspo from Blaylor.
