Garnerstyle Launches New Collection For Rebdolls

by Gina Jones 2

With the holidays right around the corner, stores left, right, and center are filled with enough sparkly clothing to fill RuPaul's wardrobe. That being said, the latest Garnerstyle holiday collection for Rebdolls is one that I'm absolutely ecstatic about. Not only because of my adoration for plus size blogger Chastity Garner Valentine's first collection for Rebdolls — a nautical-themed daydream — but also because the pieces in this line are just so damn pretty.

Garner Valentine's first collection began selling out in only a few hours, so you'll likely want to explore this fancy, fine, and even feathered holiday collection as soon as possible. What I especially love about the blogger turned designer's pieces (both in this collection and the last one) is her clear refusal to stick to the "traditions" of plus size clothing. From mesh tops to tight-fitting feathered skirts, these clothes are about making a statement: A statement about refusing to believe that clothing should be "flattering." Instead, it should be fun.

The collection is not only for plus size frames, though. Like most of Rebdolls' items, these are available in sizes S through 5X. And Garner Valentine's original and individual style shines through it all in a way that's anything but shy. The best part about a blogger producing a collection is arguably that you can own a piece of their personal style, and this one's no different.

With items in the collection starting at only $28, this is also one of the most affordable, plus-inclusive collections you can get your hands on (although one specific skirt is priced at $350. But trust me, when you see it, you'll understand why. Just look at that detailing).

The struggle for finding affordable plus size clothing that is not only in your budget but actually possesses some semblance of style is still a rarity in the fatshion community. So grabbing a bodycon leopard print midi skirt for less than $35 is a totally necessity.

Too often are holiday collections full of clothing that can only really be worn for work parties, so the fact that most of these items can be sported from daytime all the way through to the next morning makes them that little bit more special. Because if you look stylish as hell during the day, impromptu drinks in the evening won't leave you feeling under-dressed.

If you're still struggling to find that perfect outfit for this year's party season, look no further. Garner Valentine has smashed it with her varied and fun collection that can take you straight from the holidays and into 2016 in blissful chicness.
