Chris Harrison Shares Details On 6 Of Ben's Women

It's the most wonderful time of the year — and no, I'm not talking about the holiday season. OK, yeah, that's happening too, but to everyone as obsessed with Bachelor Nation as I am, it's that beautiful month before The Bachelorpremieres when the internet beings to explode with news and spoilers about the episodes to come. Until now, ABC has remained pretty quiet about the details of Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor , save for an epic sneak peek that was released last month, but now, all of that is about to change. Recently, host Chris Harrison gave details on six of Ben's women, and from what he says, it's definitely one you're not going to want to miss.

In an interview with Yahoo! TV, Harrison explained why the network decided to go with Ben — he's "refreshing and relatable," duh — and revealed that he spent the season being totally willing to get vulnerable and let the process happen, which is kind of essential when you're falling in love on reality TV. Another important question he answered was when Yahoo! asked him to name five of the women who will keep things interesting this season for viewers, and Harrison definitely didn't disappoint.

The best news that can be gleaned from all of this: If you got a little bored last year watching Chris Soules talk about his farm but loved that the women kept the drama dialed all the way up, it sounds like Ben's group of women are going to be really fun to watch in the same way... with the added bonus of waaaay less talk about corn.

Example: The show's first ever set of identical twins, as if memorizing 25 names of people you literally just met isn't going to be difficult enough for Ben. Their names are Haley and Emily Ferguson, and according to Harrison, they do not dress alike (cue sigh of relief) and they "did not come on to play games." This is really good to hear, because knowing the way the show tends to spin things, I totally expected ABC to milk the twin concept for all it was worth. Could it be that this season is finally when the editing stops making everyone seem insane? Eh, probably not.

Another notable contestant is JoJo Fletcher, who is a "spitfire from Dallas" and is struggling with the idea of falling in love again. Apparently, Ben's going to have to put in a little extra effort with her since a recent breakup left her "gun shy" about letting new people in again, so it's a good thing that our new leading man is basically the sweetest guy in the world. And if you're a fan of crazy limo entrances, you'll probably like JoJo right off the bat. OK, so she's not riding in a giant cupcake on wheels like Chris Strandburg did last season, but there is a unicorn mask involved, so JoJo will be keeping things interesting.

Here's hoping that bios of the women (plus their photos) are released soon. I need to have plenty of time to stalk the cast before the show premieres next month! Is it January yet?
