Meet Robyn From 'The Real Housewives Of Potomac'

I think we can all agree that when Bravo announced its next installment of the wildly popular Real Housewives franchise was headed to Potomac, Maryland that we all scratched our heads a bit, wondering just how a sleepy Maryland town would fit in with the big-city glamour of the likes of Beverly Hills, New York, and Atlanta. After all, the fun of watching the Housewives from any city is to see not only the drama when things get heated between the crew, but to see the luxe mansions and hip hot spots where they shop, dine, and play. But the cast is proving to have some very interesting additions, and I can't wait to see what this crew will have in store. It's exciting to see such a diverse, multi-faceted cast, including a PR power player named Robyn Dixon.

In the trailer for the upcoming season, we learn that the ladies know Potomac isn't the most well-known hood, but they insist: "If you haven’t heard of Potomac, that’s fine, because that means we’ve done a great job keeping it a nice little secret."

As for Dixon, she doesn't have much of a social media presence (yet), but I were able to find out some great tidbits about her. Here's what fans can learn about Dixon so far:

She's The Ex-Wife Of A Professional Basketball Player

Dixon was married to NBA player Juan Dixon for seven years, and the two remain close, still living together even after their split. That will surely bring some crazy TV moments!

She's A Publicist And Event Manager

She works for TAA PR, a Washington D.C.-based agency that specializes in "fashion, design, entertainment, hospitality and the luxury lifestyle sectors."

She's The Mom To Two Very Active Boys

In her role as mom to 7-year-old Corey and 6-year-old Carter, she is kept busy by their non-stop schedules. And they love basketball, just like dad!

She Seems Like A Ton Of Fun

She loves to get glammed up and go out with her friends... but let's be real, what true Real Housewife doesn't?!

Her Beauty Routine Is Simple

Regarding her day-to-day beauty routine, Dixon told Washingtonian Mom: "I spend about five minutes on my makeup; I’m very basic." So basic, in fact, that she does her own mani-pedis! "I hate getting my nails done at the nail salon. I can’t stand sitting there for long periods of time with my hands stuck to a table.” She does love changing up her hair color, noting that she does a "drastic color change at least twice a year."

She's Proud Of Her Sorority Roots

Dixon studied business marketing at the University of Maryland and is a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She still attends events to root for her college football team, the Maryland Terrapins.

I can't wait to learn more about Dixon and her gorgeous family when the show premieres on Bravo on Jan. 17!
