ShiftWear created digitally customizable sneakers that are controlled completely via Smart Phone. Yup, you read that correctly. You can now literally change the design of your shoes per your every mood. Fashion and technology have long gone hand-in-hand, with tons of brands like Tori Burch and Opening Ceremony taking stabs at tech-based fashion items, but these cool new kicks give a whole new meaning to the term "wearable technology."

So how does it work exactly? Customers use ShiftWear's app to browse through high-definition still and moving images, or they can choose to create their own design. The design is then displayed wirelessly right onto the body of the sneaker, and voilà! Creativity is now literally just a touch of a button away. The sweetest part? The more you walk in these babies, the more they charge, so there is no need to take them off or plug them in.

Sneakers have totally replaced heels as the it-shoe of the fashion industry. More and more celebs, like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, are quickly become bonafide sneaker-heads, swapping stilettos for comfy athletic shoes.
