The Kardashians Are Expanding Their Hair Line

More Kardashian Beauty products are on the way. The Kardashian Beauty hair care range is expanding, with several new products due to land on shelves in March 2016. Depending on your perspective, that news either elicited a "Yay!" or a groan and a grumble. While I don't necessarily want to line Kardashian pockets with my kash, I confess that I am stoked, because I actually love the current collection of Kardashian Beauty hair products.

The terrific smelling Dry Shampoo adds the right amount of texture and is so sniff-worthy, while a teardrop-sized dose of the Black Seed Dry Oil adds extra gloss and polish but smells like heaven in a bottle. I even rub the excess oil on my cuticles since it's so nourishing. But then my hands smell really good, too.

Can you tell I am all about the smell? Allure noted the brand's offerings smell like spiced roses and I've been trying to nail the right description for it for months and that's it. The Dry Oil smells like cinnamon roses to my nose.

That said, what's the scoop on the next crop of products? Well, Khloe Kardashian posted a photo of some of the new items, like shampoo, a leave-in conditioning mist, and a hair mask.

Allure got the 411 on the forthcoming generation of Kardashian Beauty hair offerings. These items have been formulated with the black seed oil, so if you use them, you can expect blinding, megawatt shine.

But if you have fine or straight hair, you want to be careful not to overload, since the products are rich and designed to help repair hair damaged by tools and coloring.

If you're not super familiar with black seed oil, since it doesn't have the same profile as coconut oil or Moroccanoil, well, Allure grilled a cosmetic chemist about its benefits. While it doesn't condition as powerfully as argan oil, it will still smooth stressed strands. The ingredient is also anti-inflammatory. So if you're scalp is cranky, this will soothe it.

Kim Kardashian was quick to point out that she and her sisters don't just add their name to the bottles and then promote accordingly. The ladies are there every step of the way as the products are developed.

"You can attach yourself to any product, and that’s not what we’re about," the new mom told Allure. "We want to make sure that the quality of our product is so amazing that it just really speaks for itself. We sit with a whole team, and we’re not chemists —we're not— we don't understand the science behind it. So we can just explain it, and then it’s up to us to test and we give it to all of our glam teams, all of our friends, our assistants, because we want to make sure it works on different types of hair."

You can't deny that the Kardashians have healthy-looking hair and they do seem to kare immensely about the products they release. I'll surely be trying the next gen of products.
