Playmate Cassandra Lynn Found Dead at 34

by Kaitlin Reilly

Sad news today. Playboy Playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley was found dead yesterday at age 34. The model was found in the bathtub by a friend in her friend's Los Angeles home. The friend called the paramedics who could not revive Cassandra.

An autopsy was completed on Thursday. A toxicology report is being processed and could take up to several weeks. The cause of death is suspected to be an overdose. No foul play is suspected at this time.

Cassandra Lynn moved into the Playboy Mansion after she was crowned Miss February. She got her start modeling after placing in the top 20 of a Hawaiian Tropic contest. She often posted horoscopes for her astrological sign, Leo, on her Twitter page. Due to these horoscopes, her Twitter account still tweets out automatic messages.

Cassandra Lynn's Twitter bio states her location as "Not where I want to be!" in possible reference to her larger-than-life modeling aspirations. Cassandra Lynn stated that she loved modeling and that there would be a "life after Playboy " for her career. She said:

I've been a part of many great experiences: magazine covers, travel shows, and of course offering advice to impressionable young girls who believe they need to act a particular way for a chance to be a model - not slutty but classy.

Playboy's official account tweeted their sympathies, but nothing from Hugh Hefner, as of now:

Our thoughts go out to Cassandra Lynn's family and friends.
