6 Best Songs From 'The Voice' Season 9

It feels like just yesterday that The Voice Season 9 stormed into our lives with Jordan Smith's incredible Blind Audition and the romance rumors about coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Alas, the ninth season of the vocal competition show has reached the end of the road and a winner will be crowed on Tuesday night. So, already you might be asking, "When is the next season of The Voice airing?" Most likely, The Voice Season 10 will premiere in February 2016, if past spring seasons of the show are any indication. Earlier this year, Season 8 premiered in late February 2015, after the Oscars and the Super Bowl aired, so there were no distractions and you could totally put all your energy into paying attention to the Blind Auditions. Here's hoping the same for Season 10 in early 2016.

Season 10 will bring a coaching change: Christina Aguilera will return to her big ol' red chair, while Stefani will take a break. Auguilera's return was confirmed back in October, before news/rumors of Shelton and Stefani's romance hit a fever pitch. Shelton, Adam Levine, and Pharrell Williams will also return as coaches for Season 10. As for what's in store for Season 10, well, viewers will have to wait and see, but in the meantime, The Voice has given us so much good music in Season 9 — it's almost unreal. As you wait with baited breath for Season 10, here are some of the best songs from The Voice Season 9.

1. "Chandelier" Sung By Jordan Smith

The ultimate Blind Audition. Smith's incredible rendition of Sia's hit song stunned viewers and judges — Smith certainly doesn't look like his voice, but he nonetheless won the hearts of the coaches and audience. But, will he take home the trophy on Tuesday? He just might. Smith has been the frontrunner since September.

2. "Hotline Bling" Sung By Amy Vachal

During the Live Playoffs, Levine started giving Vachal pop songs reworked as jazzy tunes and that's when this smooth singer really hit her stride, starting with this version of Drake's ubiquitous hit. Here's hoping there's a full album of jazzy pop songs in this Brooklynite's future.

3. "9 To 5" Sung By Emily Ann Roberts

This Voice finalist introduced a Dolly Parton classic to a whole new generation with this fun and energetic version that propelled the country singer to the finals.

4. "Ghost" Sung By Barrett Baber

At first, I thought this was a weird choice for soulful country singer Baber, but once he really gets into it, the singer and teacher shows a whole new side to himself in his semifinal performance of Ella Henderson's hit track.

5. "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" Sung By Zach Seabaugh

He's only 17! But Seabaugh has a voice that's beyond his years and picked up lots of traction late in the Voice competition, giving him the Save and a position in the semifinals. Watch him strut his stuff to this Queen classic.

6. "Halo" Sung By Jordan Smith

Some say it's Smith's competition to lose. He's been consistent with every performance, and I could've filled this list with all of his songs — he's so good. But, instead, I'll simply include this touching rendition of Beyonce's "Halo," because covering Bey is no easy task. Smith, however, tackled it flawlessly in the early rounds of the Live Playoffs, signaling there would be plenty more where that came from.

It'll be a long wait until Season 10, but hey, thank goodness for YouTube, right?
