Take note right now: William H. Macy did not enjoy seeing One Direction in concert. In a new appearance on LIVE With Kelly and Michael, Macy explained that he has a 13-year-old daughter, and, like most 13-year-old girls, she's obsessed with One Direction. So, like the good father he is, he took her to a One Direction concert — and probably looked exactly like one of these guys when he did.
"I've been in showbiz all my life, so, let me just say, those guys can sing. They are very talented," Macy admitted, before adding: "They couldn't put on a good show with a gun to their head."
SO MUCH SHADE. SO MUCH AWESOME. Also — so much bravery. Doesn't William H. Macy know that the only fans more rabid that Justin Bieber fans are One Direction Fans?
Macy proceeded to mock the band's choreography by stomping around the room (hilariously, might I add). I mean, it's true, you've got to admit — those boys don't have real choreography at all. Or, y'know, style: "They had on crappy jeans and a stupid T-shirt," Macy added. "And then they do a costume change in the middle of the show and they come out in different crappy jeans and a stupid T-shirt."
Still not finished recapping his experience at the concert, Macy continued: "Harry (Styles) ate a sandwich while two of his guys were singing...I mean, call me old-fashioned, but when I'm downstage singing my heart out, you better not eat a sandwich behind me." True! And if you're not too inclined to believe Macy's words, I was able to find a picture of Styles eating on stage, thanks to Tumblr:
