Kate Hudson Looks Flawless In Black Ensemble

by Melodi Erdogan

Not every actress in Hollywood can effortlessly pull-off an intimidating, all-black ensemble made up of a jumpsuit and floor length blazer, but if anyone can, It's Kate Hudson, who wore a sleek Elie Saab outfit to The Hateful Eight premiere in New York City last night. Looking absolutely stunning with simple makeup and accessories, Hudson proved no silhouette is intimidating enough for her to rock on the red carpet.

Attending the film premiere alongside mom Goldie Hawn to support her step-dad, Kurt Russell, Hudson absolutely killed the style game. The sleek ensemble was just modern and basic enough to not command too much attention (since she didn't work on the project), yet still made heads turn on the red carpet. Obviously, when you're Kate Hudson, that's not tough to do, no matter what you're wearing. Even so, the outfit was perfect for the occasion and beautifully put together.

And when I say she looks beautiful, I don't mean it lightly. I didn't think it was possible to covet an outfit this much. But hey, there's first for everything. Let's take a peek at the ensemble. Because really, could Hudson possibly look any more gorgeous in this jumpsuit/long coat duo? Didn't think so!

The initial striking quality about this outfit is that it is monochromatic. Clearly, being blonde and fair-skinned doesn't stop Hudson from going all-black-errything, and it seriously works for her. But once you get past the stark color (or lack there of), it's the silhouette that really stands out.

The strapless jumpsuit with flared hem flows perfectly with the super long satin blazer. Hudson's belted waist makes sure her curves don't get lost in the oversized coat, as does the strapless neckline of the jumpsuit.

With an ensemble like this, makeup and accessories need to be kept subtle. And that's exactly what Hudson did with a simple long necklace, a boxy clutch, and a pair of gold Short Checker Stud earrings by ESTABLISHED Jewelry. Her makeup was very natural, with flawless skin, pencil-lined eyes, and a light pink gloss on her lips.

Wouldn't this sleek outfit be perfect for that holiday party you've been avoiding, or maybe even New Year's Eve? Either way, this ensemble is totally easy to replicate with the items below. Happy Kate Hudson-ing!
