White hot and crop topped! That pretty much describes Rita Ora's ELLE Canada cover, which finds the singer and actress rocking a platinum, punk rock pixie, super dark brows, and displaying her abs in a lime green crop top and pants. Ora often enhances her locks with wigs and extensions and this super short 'do might be the closest look we get at her real hair.
What I love most about this cover, though, is the fact that Ora ditched her signature tomato red lips in favor of a swipe of pale pink lipstick. She, and her makeup artist and the creative director, really went with an extreme contrast, since her black, perfectly 'scaped brows popped against her white locks. So it was smart not to go with a super strong, statement red lip since the brows are so pronounced.
I am also all about that thick, gold choker that Ora is wearing.
Ora's career is really mimicking Rihanna's. While some might look at her as a "Rih-ta" or as a RiRi copycat, Ora's constantly morphing style is uniquely her own. But at this point, both fashion plates are more well-known for their fashion choices and their evolving hair. That said, both singers are total fashion influencers and that's a hard-earned and well-deserved status.
That's a power pout if there ever was one. Ora can wear super short hair or mega long hair and always look gorgeous. This cover look actually combines a lot of elements she has rocked in the past in one place. Let's break that down, shall we?
She recently rocked long, golden blonde locks with the same pale pink lips.
Now, check this out. Ora totally channeled '80s-era Madonna with the pixie; she just added black matte lips. This pixie feels like it's probably Ora's real hair.
Here is another dose of pink lips and strong, arched brows, but with majorly long, stick straight, and honey-hued hair.
Ora went with the wet head look for her SELF cover. She also showed off her abs, just like she did on ELLE Canada.
Remember this ELLE cover of yore? Ora's red lips popped against that statement hat. But it was really the brows that spoke the loudest volume.
Rainbow hair, don't care. However, Ora's pink lips were once again on full display.
As you can see, Ora is a total style chameleon who changes her look on what feels like a daily basis. It's not practical for people IRL and who are on a budget, but she does provide a lot of inspo for all sorts of styles. She managed to combine a lot of past looks in one with this ELLE cover.
