A 2nd Spice Girls Reunion? Don't Hold Your Breath

And just like that, all of our dreams of seeing Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell strutting their stuff fresh out of the geriatric ward disappear into thin air: According to Victoria Beckham, another Spice Girls reunion is unlikely to happen.

"I won't ever do it again," Beckham revealed in a new interview with Vanity Fair Italy and Spain, which was transcribed by The Daily Mail . "Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British. That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."

NOOOOO.

OK, in all seriousness, I get it. It's like, too many reunions, it gets old, and we'll all find ourselves hating the sound of "Wannabe" rather than fondly looking it up on YouTube and rocking out to it in the privacy of our own rooms. (That's not just me, right?) But to say never? It's like the pain you feel after a band-aid is ripped off really quickly, only you didn't even know the band-aid was on your skin or something. In other words, it hurts.

According to TVNZ in New Zealand, the five gals were offered $49 million for another reunion in Vegas this year for their 20th anniversary, but the deal would only be on if Beckham participated — which apparently is never going to happen. Siiigh.
