What Else Could Kylie Jenner's Instagram Mean?

Everyone knows that no one does Christmas like the Kardashian/Jenners. This Christmas was no different — and it looks like Kylie Jenner's Christmas might have been better than anyone else's! On Christmas, Kylie Jenner's Instagran blew up after she posted a picture of a large diamond ring — leading many to wonder if the youngest Jenner is engaged, especially as it was accompanied by a photo of her and Tyga kissing. But, did 26-year-old Tyga really propose to Jenner?

Maybe, I guess — but there are other theories that are more likely.

Think about it: Jenner knows exactly what to do to keep everyone talking about her. The year 2015 was huge for her. The social media queen/reality TV starlet expanded her fan base, formed a distinct brand and image that separated her from her siblings, and made herself the most popular sister in the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Add a superstar rapper boyfriend to the mix, and you have Kylie Jenner's year summed up in a nutshell.

Jenner and Tyga's relationship made headlines everywhere, all year long. Whether people were criticizing the couple or the status of their on-again, off-again romance, people were always talking about them. Now, the starlet is giving people something else to fuel the fire: Her latest Instagram post featuring the interior of her Range Rover and a large, beautifully cut diamond ring has everyone speculating as to whether or not Tyga popped the question this Christmas:

But OK, hold the phone, people. Let's not be so quick to assume that Tyga has proposed — the ring isn't even on the correct hand, and there's not been any announcement yet! While it could be a possibility, there are several other theories that could result in the purchase of this ring that don't include an engagement:

1. King Kylie Gifted Herself

Jenner could have easily purchased the ring as a Christmas present to herself. It's not a crime to treat yourself every once in a while!

2. Kanye West Gifted Her

Yeezus is tight with all of his sisters-in-law, and likes to treat them well. I can definitely see West transforming into a Santa Claus of sorts to treat his family and friends for Christmas.

3. Kris Jenner Wanted To Play Santa

Like Jenner said herself, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Everyone knows that mother hen Kris loves a little bit of glitz and glamour in her life, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Kris was the one who gifted Jenner with this priceless gem.

4. The Ring Is a Gift From a Sponsor

When your star shines as bright as Jenner's, different companies knock down your door giving you free gifts in order to have you throw them plugs on your social media. This ring could be a large splurge from a jeweler whose latest tactic is to have Jenner pictured with one of their pieces.

5. Caitlyn Jenner Wanted To Surprise Her

It's no secret that Caitlyn has always loved spoiling Kylie — there was a whole episode about it on Keeping Up With the Kardashians! This being said, it wouldn't be out of this world if Caitlyn decided to spoil her youngest daughter with the glitzy diamond ring for Christmas.

6. Tyga Wanted To Spoil His Girlfriend

The pair have had quite the year, and it's not unusual for boyfriends to buy jewelry for their girlfriends; Tyga could have easily just bought the ring for his girlfriend as a nice Christmas gift. He doesn't have to propose to her for that to happen!

7. Santa Actually Gave Her The Ring

After how successful Jenner was this year, it wouldn't be unheard of if Santa decided that she deserved to make the nice list this year.

Careful to jump to conclusions, people! While there might be a small possibility that Tyga really did pop the question to Jenner, it is unlikely. The Kardashian/Jenner clan always likes to keep us on our toes, after all!
