How To Wear Emma's Xmas Eve Outfit All Year Long

by Katharine McEntee

Another day, another occasion for Emma Roberts’ style to be totally on point. And in a holiday selfie on Instagram, we were graced with Emma Roberts' Christmas Eve outfit that totally slayed. While she looked incredibly cool, as usual, I couldn’t help but notice how her form-fitting midi and sky-high heels seemed reminiscent of her oh-so-fashionable Scream Queens character, Chanel. Unlike Chanel, Roberts opted for neutral tones and black accessories, making for a casual meets party look that can be worn year-round.

While Roberts' on-screen style is very distinct from her ultra-cool, off-duty looks, her Christmas Eve ensemble seemed to be the perfect hybrid of the two. Her gray, sleeveless, turtleneck dress, which is unfortunately sold out from Forever21, is the perfect staple for every season. Its midi length and high neckline make it a great option to wear to work, while its fitted silhouette is ideal for a night on the town. Roberts’ versatile dress looked great with her Barabara Bui open-toed cage heels and Balenciaga mini leather satchel, but it would look just as good in colder weather paired with a wool overcoat and ankle boots. Seriously, the outfit combos are endless.

If you, like me, are looking for a practical New Year's Eve outfit that isn’t covered in glitter, or a timeless dress that you can wear again and again, scroll down to see how you can recreate Roberts’ season-less party look.
