Twitter Loves Bran Stark's New 'Do

by Maitri Suhas

Bran Stark is back, baby! But he's no baby anymore. Entertainment Weekly revealed the first photo of Isaac Hempstead-Wright as Bran in Season 6 of Game of Thrones and naturally, he has grown up. The actor, who is only 16, was all of 12years old when we last saw him in Season 4, where he met the Three-Eyed Raven. And fans on Twitter are happy to see Bran back, and even happier about his new hair.

It really is so good to see Bran back again, after hearing his voice in the teaser trailer. Of course, it's natural that he would have aged and gone through most of puberty in the years of his on-screen absence from the HBO show, but still, Bran's not a baby anymore, and that is enough to make a real Game Of Thrones fan feel nervous. Bran might be the last Stark man left, and that is enough to make you feel an impending sense of doom about the new season: now it's just a matter of wondering what episode he'll die in.

And for those that aren't quite struck with such existential dread from the new photo, there's mostly excitement about Bran's much-improved haircut. So good to have you back, little Brandon Stark! I can't wait to see you fly. But, wait! Here's a question: what's with him riding a horse?! And another question that Entertainment Weekly asks: since Hempstead-Wright is now six feet tall, how is Hodor gonna lug him around? Oh, Hodor. Can't wait to see you, either.

No More Wigs!

Even though the photo isn't very revealing, fans are just happy the costume designers got rid of that horrible Bran wig.

Some Can't Contain Their Excitement

It really is great to see Bran again, I agree.

Yes, He Grew Up

Still, it's a hard truth to accept. Where have all the years gone?

We Need An Explanation For That Horse

My thoughts exactly.

And Of Course, The Thing All GOT Fans Fear...

I hate to admit it, but it's only a matter of time.
