Cast Of 'OITNB' Rocks The Golden Globes Red Carpet

by Jen Marie

Orange Is The New Black has taken viewers by storm for three seasons running, and the show has done an excellent job of portraying a rich array of multifaceted characters in a very inclusive way. As a result, the Orange Is The New Black cast at the 2016 Golden Globes sauntered on to the red carpet celebrating a nomination for Best TV Series in the Comedy category, as well as Uzo Aduba's nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Limited-Series, or TV Movie. Of course, in addition to being truly bold and delightful on screen, the OITNB cast has proved its off-screen fashion sense time and again, and this year's Golden Globes red carpet is no exception.

OITNB's cast of talented performers is beautifully unique, and often makes excellent use of fashion to express every actor's individuality. From vivacious and voluptuous to elegant, lighthearted, and polished, the key players in this cast are masters of red carpet style. While they are collectively a very classy bunch, each one of the cast members shines so brightly, it's difficult to choose a favorite. However, you're bound to find a new beloved ensemble in this gorgeous, glamorous mix of red carpet glory.

1. Uzo Aduba

Uzo Aduba was absolutely fabulous in her black shimmering Talbot Runhof gown and radiant smile. The sleeves that wrapped to meet in the back of the dress were truly a unique touch, and extremely classy in combination with the low back. Clearly, Aduba was the belle of the ball this evening.

2. Laverne Cox

Could Laverne Cox be any more stunning? I hardly think so. Everywhere she goes, she radiates elegance and style, and she really stepped up her game this evening in a beautiful Elizabeth Kennedy dress.

Cox is easily in the running for the evening's best dressed.

3. Taylor Schilling

Talk about a power suit. Dang. Taylor Schilling wore this black shimmer, low cut, perfectly tailored suit like she meant it. And, she and Aduba were clearly on similar wavelengths, if not planning their ensembles together in advance.

Once again, the OITNB cast has left a lasting impression with its arresting sense of red carpet style.
