You Won't Recognize Kiernan Shipka With Curly Hair

It seems that the '90s isn't the only decade making a resurgence into mainstream fashion — the '80s are also now making a major comeback. Kiernan Shipka debuted super curly hair at the Stella McCartney fashion presentation on Tuesday, and looked like a spitting image of Sandy from the classic movie musical Grease. Big, over-the-top hair is definitely back in style.

The 16-year-old rocked what seemed like an old-school perm, and she looked more adorable than ever, if that's even possible. Her dirty blonde locks were deeply side-parted and teased to create an extra voluminous effect. A portion of her mane was slicked back at the side, adding a little bit of an edge to the retro look. This has got to be her best hair look yet, at least IMO.

The budding actress has been slowly transforming into a fashion It-girl, showing us that she's not afraid to push the envelope with fashion and beauty risks, and this latest 'do clearly proves that. Though she is known for flaunting many versatile hairstyles, including milkmaid braids and knotted up-dos, we haven't quite seen her sport super bouncy curls like these. Perhaps that's why she looks so remarkably different.
