This Is the Best Party You're Not Invited To

And now, let's all sit and fantasize about a party that, likely, none of us are ever going to get to go to. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miley Cyrus is set to perform at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala, along with 2013's other big artists Lorde and Jennifer Hudson.

Clive Davis, if you're not aware, is a huge name in the record industry — he's currently the chief creative officer of Sony Music Entertainment, but he's been the CEO of RCA and BMG, as well as the founder of Arista Records and J Records. He's also won about five Grammy awards for his work as a record producer, and he's also majorly responsible for Whitney Houston's successful career. Cyrus may not have been nominated for a Grammy this year around (maybe she should have toned down the twerking?) but still, performing at Davis' party is a huge deal.

Hudson will reportedly be debuting her new single at the party, "I Can't Help (The Way I Feel)," alongside T.I. and Pharrell, who collaborated on the song. Davis is also promising a "music legend" will show up to make an appearance at the party, but it's not clear exactly who he means. It is worth noting, though, that a few music legends are set to perform at the Grammys themselves, like Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and Stevie Wonder — so it could be any one of them.

According to the LA Times, the annual pre-Grammy gala will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday night, with the Grammys set to take place on Sunday night.
