How To Copy Khloe Kardashian's Wavy Bob

by Jessica Willingham

She's by far the favorite sister, but if you're not a fan, Khloe is here to prove yet again why she's the wisest of the them all. After experiencing a lot of changes in her life (which were accompanied by a lot of haters), Khloe shed the rest of the negativity by chopping off her hair and it looks beyond amazing. So amazing, in fact, that I am left wondering how to copy Khloe Kardashian's wavy bob. It's so chic, she might be the new queen of Kardashian-Jenner hair.

Last October, Kardashian decided to chop off her signature long locks after dealing with a difficult year. As women, we know the power of an appearance change: It can be exactly what you need to revamp your motivation, freshen up your outlook, or initiate some positive momentum in your life. So she cut her gorgeous long hair, dyed her hair true blonde, and embraced her natural curls.

"I cut all of my hair off because I was in the hospital, and I just felt like I needed … to get rid of this negativity," she explained on Live! with Kelly and Michael . "You shouldn't do haircuts when you're that emotionally confused, but I did, and I love it, though! It's so much easier." She's never looked better, and it's obvious that she's never been happier, too.

As far as why she went blonde? It's always something she's wanted to do. "I slowly started going blonde," she said about her color change. "I was doing the ombré thing, and then little by little, I started going blonder and blonder."

Now that you're all caught up, here's how you can nail her wavy bob look, because I know you're wondering, too.

Khloe rocks this look by playing up her natural curls, which adds a playful and feminine vibe.

You can recreate her beachy, voluminous waves by using a texturizing spray and a curling iron to make imperfect, playful volume.

A lot of different brands carry texturizing sprays now (even at the drugstore), but if you're feeling particularly crafty, you can make your own beach spray at home, too.

You can also create the waves with a flat iron if you want the ends to be a little piecier and messier looking.

Start by spraying a texturizing spray, and begin curling in large sections from the nape of the neck up. If you have thin hair, try this style after a day or two of not washing your hair for added grit.

The great thing about this look is that it's easy and low-maintenance, and there isn't a ton of of product and upkeep involved. A wash every few days keeps this look fresh and playful.
