Will Miley Cyrus' Kanye Remix Be On 'Swish'?

A Miley Cyrus and Kanye West mash-up isn't exactly the kind of thing you may have been expecting. Unless you count that time that Kanye West and Miley Cyrus were spotted hitting the studio together back in 2013. But, after all these years, is it possible that the leaked Miley Cyrus remix of Kanye's "Black Skinhead" was what they were working on? As the "Wrecking Ball" singer's very own spin on Kanye's song has just found its way to the masses via a leak, I'm seriously wondering if this track that was in the making for that long. With the help of Travi$ Scott, the "Party in the U.S.A." singer remixed the popular Yeezus single with the Tears for Fears song "Everybody Wants To Rule The World." Creating an overall combination of Miley singing, Kanye's rap, and other never-before-heard background music combinations. And it's actually sounds whole lot better than Miley's detractors might think it would. But, what does this mean for the musical relationship between Kanye West and Miley Cyrus moving forward? Considering the perfectly placed timing for Miley dropping the track — as West is currently busy promoting his new album Swish via random tweets — I'm left to wonder if the "Black Skinhead" remix will actually be featured on Swish. Could this "leak" be part of West's guerilla marketing strategy?

OK... I know that's a total long-shot. However, the track is still considered West's track, meaning that it could hold an extra spot on the track list if the artist is feeling the new sound. While it seems unlikely that West would have dropped this would an accompanying tweet about who was involved and whether or not he liked the sound quality, anything is possible in this new age of Kanye. And if you listen to the Miley-Kanye mash-up now, you'll see that it definitely holds up to high enough standards to make the cut, at least in my humble opinion.

As of right now, some of the confirmed songs for the Swish track list include Kanye's recently released singles, "Real Friends," his Kendrick Lamar featured song, "No More Parties In L.A," and the less-hyped song, "Facts." So, maybe a little bit of Cyrus would actually be a pretty solid addition? But, unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to wait until Swish drops on Feb. 11 to truly find out what West's plan is.
