Queen Latifah Rocks A Kimono Style Top

by Eliza Florendo

They don't call her the Queen for nothing: She's absolutely nothing short of fabulous. Queen Latifah's kimono top at the Hollywood Walk of Fame honoring LL Cool J as he got his star basically further proved that she's still on top of her style game. Whether she's on the Red Carpet, attending an event, or casually walking down the street, the Queen herself always has an air of put togetherness.

Let's just talk about some of her most iconic looks, shall we? Let's start with 1989, when she released her first album, All Hail The Queen. During this period of her life, she was seen wearing glasses with flip clips and of course, big, bold hair. Queen Latifah was pretty much the master of big, bold earrings, rocking chandelier style pearl earrings, hoops, and everything in between. Basically, she wasn't afraid to make a statement. And that, I always respect.

The Queen is a champion of plus size fashion, looking all sorts of glamorous in Vince Camuto, Prada, DKNY, Escada, Lafayette 148, and of course, her fabulous collection of shoes. I'm talking Jimmy Choo, Stuart Weitzman, and more. Need I go on about how stacked her closet is? Didn't think so.

But on this particular event, I'm totally in love with her Kimono style black top, track-inspired black trousers, and of course, a statement pair of heels: A strappy black sandal with a gold heel. With minimal effort, Queen Latifah totally nailed the whole look.
