'Bachelor' Stars Jade & Tanner Are Married

by Nicole Pomarico

It's not often that Bachelor Nation brings us a success story, but this is a sign that things might actually be changing. After getting engaged on Bachelor in Paradise last summer, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are married! When they Skyped into The Bachelor's after show, Bachelor Live, earlier this month, the couple announced that they'd be getting married soon, although they didn't cough up the date, but now, we know their new anniversary is officially January 24. According to Us Weekly, Roper and Tolbert tied the knot at Dana Point, California's St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach over the weekend. And don't worry — The Bachelor cameras were there, capturing the entire event to air on Valentine's Day on ABC. How perfect is that?!

And the TV special about their love should be pretty awesome, considering the fact that tons of Bach alums were there to see them say their vows. Ben Higgins, Chris Harrison, Chris Soules, and Ali Fedotowsky were all in attendance, as well as plenty more familiar faces. And of course, Carly Wadell was there, too, because she and Jade are besties. Unfortunately, there aren't too many other details out there about their nuptials yet, but we'll get to see everything when the wedding airs, so NBD.

But even though Tolbert and Roper have made their relationship official, their union is sure to be met with plenty of cynicism. After all, The Bachelor and its various spinoffs don't exactly have the best track record when it comes to creating bonds that last a lifetime. But I'm pretty sure that this BIP couple will beat the odds, and here's why.

They're So Low-Key

Although "news" of trouble between Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth breaks just about every day, Tolbert and Roper have somehow managed to mostly stay out of the press, and not having that kind of pressure on them makes a world of difference when it comes to making their marriage last. And since they found each other on BIP and not one of the more high profile shows like Bachelor and Bachelorette, there's sure to be a smaller spotlight on them, which will make the whole thing a lot easier.

Besides, on BIP, they were practically the only couple who never fought, never had drama, and just kind of sat back, hung out with each other, and watched the circus happen around them — a sure sign that they've been secure in their relationship from the start.

They Were Both Ready For A Lifetime Commitment

On The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Roper and Tolbert both made their intentions clear: They're ready to settle down, get married, and start a family. Chris Soules and Kaitlyn Bristowe may not have been the right people for them to do that with, but now that they found each other, they can finally make their dreams a reality.

They've Been Serious About Making Things Work From The Start

Shortly after their engagement on Bachelor in Paradise, Jade uprooted her life and moved to Tolbert's hometown of Kansas City. This shows a major amount of trust and faith in the fact that their relationship will last, and they've always been serious about creating a future together.

They Have Fun Doing The Mundane Together

And let's be real: Even for reality stars, there is far more mundane than anything else. If Roper's found a guy who will keep her company while running errands and makes them fun, she's found a keeper.

They're Legit The Cutest Ever

OK, so being cute isn't exactly a prime indicator of a lasting relationship, but it still counts. Just look at them!

Congrats, you two! I can't wait to see the wedding on Valentine's Day. Wine, Roper and Tolbert tying the knot, and yoga pants — sounds like a plan.
