2014 Grammys Fashion: Stars Battled It Out in Lookalike Gowns

On any red carpet — and particularly a red carpet right in the middle of awards season, when gown fatigue starts to set in — there are bound to be a few stars strutting their stuff in similar style choices. But at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, there were more lookalike gowns than we’ve ever seen in one place, proving that either the Grammys red carpet (in addition to other parts of the show) was a total snooze or that these great minds really do think alike. And while, technically, last night's winners were the stars who left with awards, it’s the style victories that really matter in our book. Let’s see which celebs took home the best-dressed title when pitted head-to-head with a strikingly similar gown.

Nailed It: Bonnie McKee in Gustavo Cadile

The “American Girl” singer may have had a few style misses in the past, but her striking blue strapless number was a total hit. From the slicked-back hair and statement clutch to the way that gown fit her like a glove, McKee was easily one of last night’s best-dressed stars.

Near Miss: Anna Faris in Fitriani

Not that funny lady Faris didn’t look beautiful in her strapless navy number, but the casual hair and absence of jewelry left the Mom star’s look lacking in comparison to McKee’s.

Nailed It: Ciara in Pucci

The sexy singer was positively glowing in her long-sleeve metallic gold gown last night, complete with bed-head hair and the perfect amount of cleavage. And it doesn’t hurt that her baby bump is absolutely adorable.

Near Miss: Amber Rose in Naeem Khan

She might be shiny and shimmery, too, but the model doesn’t pull off this patterned gold sequin gown with quite as much class as Ciara.

Nailed It: Beyoncé in Michael Costello

She may have shown her bad-girl side in black during her show-opening performance, but the superstar glowed in this white wonder of a dress, putting her lookalike gown to shame. (Plus, she’s Beyoncé. She wins by default.)

Near Miss: Paris Hilton in House of Milani

We have to give it to Paris: This is probably the best she’s looked in ages (and maybe ever). But when you’re going up against Queen Bey, it’s impossible to win, no matter who you are or how well the gown fits.

Winner: Pink in Johanna Johnson

Her flying circus performance felt like we’d seen it before, but Pink stole the red carpet in this red-hot, curve-hugging number that looked positively gorgeous with her bleach-blonde locks.

Near Miss: Tamar Braxton in Michael Costello

The fact that she couldn’t beat out Pink in her somewhat ill-fitting strapless red gown doesn’t take away from how smoking hot the singer looked, wardrobe malfunctions aside.

Winner: Giuliana Rancic in Alex Perry

The E! News host may have found her perfect color and shape last night in this fantastic, detailed column dress.

Near Miss: Colbie Caillat in Ezra Santos

Her peekaboo paneling may have rivaled Rancic’s, but ultimately it was the singer’s severe high bun, heavy-handed makeup, and missing neck that made Caillat’s look less than perfect.

Tie: Miranda Lambert in Pamella Roland

Showing off her super-svelte figure, country singer Miranda Lambert was one of the best-dressed stars of the entire night in this slinky, cleavage-baring number, with red lips and a clutch to match.

Tie: Alicia Keys in Armani Privé

This battle was just too close to decide. Looking hotter than ever in a down-to-there cobalt-blue gown and totally rockin’ hair, the singer gave Lambert a true run for her money.
