And Their Cheating Saga Continues...

by Ivy Jacobson

Once upon a time, Jude Law and Sienna Miller were in love. The really, really, really ridiculously good-looking couple, who met on the set of Alfie, announced that they were engaged on Christmas in 2004. However, Jude's affair with his children's nanny, Daisy Wright, prompted him to make a public apology in July 2005, and their engagement was called off. Fast forward to now, where it's time to revisit the painful past. Law's phone was tapped in the News of the World phone hacking scandal — he went to trial on Monday, and the proceedings opened old wounds. On the stand, Jude Law admitted that Sienna Miller had an affair with Daniel Craig in 2005. Craig and Miller were co-stars in Layer Cake.

One of Law's relatives sold information about Miller's affair. Law knew that an immediate family member had leaked details to the now-defunct paper, responsible for the headline "Sienna Cheats on Jude," where the story describes how Miller had an affair because she was hurt about Law's affair. However, Law did not know that the family member had been paid. During the trial, Law disclosed that he'd gotten into an argument with the James Bond star on the phone in 2005 and discovered the affair that way.

"No doubt you expressed your views?" defense attorney Timothy Langdale asked.

"I did, yes," says Law. "We had known each other many, many years. So the conversation took on all sorts of turns." In the call, Law also told Craig that he should tell his girlfriend at that time, Satsuki Mitchell, about the affair.

Miller married actor and model Tom Sturridge in 2011 and the couple had their first child, Marlowe, in July 2012. Daniel Craig married Rachel Weisz in 2011. Law has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost and one with ex-girlfriend Samantha Burke.
