11 Pretty Lingerie Inspired-Pieces For V-Day

Raise your hands if you’re a self-proclaimed “lazy girl.” I’m all about transitional dressing, and nothing defines this more than lingerie-inspired pieces that you can wear straight from dinner to the bedroom. If we’re being honest, there’s nothing like getting home and crawling straight under your covers, pants off, and no changing necessary.

With Valentine’s Day coming up, it’s time to get your sexy on (for your partner(s), but more importantly, for yourself!). Personally, I’ll be eating barbecue, 'cause cornbread and pulled pork are my true loves. But — no doubt, I’ll be wearing a sexy little number, napkin bib on top. I’ve never been one that’s been able to keep a shirt clean.

First, there was seven day dressing, which essentially refers to a wardrobe that works seven days a week, whether you’re at work, or brunching on Saturday with your friends. Then, there came work-to-happy-hour transitional pieces. You’d be surprised what a swipe of red lipstick and changing into pumps will do to your look.
