Your Guide to 'Veronica Mars' Tickets & Theaters

by Alanna Bennett

In case you've spent the past year living in some sort of Internet cave that doesn't allow the word "Kickstarter," I've got some news for you: Veronica Mars is getting a movie. It's a big deal, to me and to a lot of other people. It is very highly anticipated. And now the Veronica Mars movie has a list of theaters it'll be showing in, as well as an official date for when tickets finally go on sale.

If you were wondering which day they'll let you stalk Fandango to lock down your tickets, that will be Feb. 14, aka Valentine's Day, which seems fitting considering both how much I'm looking forward to this movie and that the Veronica Mars/Logan Echolls portmanteau is traditionally LoVe.

As for where those seats will be, well, you best cross your fingers that your city is on this list AMC just released, or that other theaters step up and add it. Luckily for a lot of people, Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas helped to make it so that the movie was more widely available than originally planned:

We’re not going to dribble it out there. There are smart ways to do a movie of this size — and we chose none of them. We are a low budget movie with big set pieces and 60 speaking roles. A murder mystery in a house would have been more cost effective. But I think we have managed to pull it off.

The movie itself comes out a month after the tickets go on sale, March 14.
