17 Valentine’s Day Breakfast In Bed Ideas

by Meghan Bassett

As one of the major foodies in my circle of friends, I’m always asked what’s the most romantic thing to cook on Valentine’s Day. It’s not steak, it’s not lobster — it’s Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed ideas that I can snuggle up with.

Don’t get me wrong, a steak and lobster dinner with a great bottle of wine will always sweep me off my feet. However if you really want to lay the love on thick, a breakfast in bed is the true way to my heart — and any other person’s heart, I would imagine. Sleeping in and waking up to the smell of something cooking in the kitchen and a freshly brewed cup of coffee is pure heaven. It’s one of those treats we all so quickly overlook, thinking it’s not enough to really wow someone on such a special day. Well folks, you couldn’t be more wrong.

So if you really want to spoil your significant other rotten this Valentine’s Day, skip the traditional dinner and go for an indulgent lazy breakfast spent in bed. In fact, take it all the way by spending the entire day in bed, watching TV, and telling each other how much you love each other.
