The Weeknd & Bella Hadid Are Still Going Strong

To say that 2015 was The Weeknd's year is an understatement. He has been one of the biggest selling artists of the year, consistently chilling on top of the charts while his music literally plays everywhere. It's just so catchy! While his professional career has been doing really well, including nabbing seven Grammy nominations from his latest album, Beauty Behind The Madness, his personal life has also been of interest to fans as he's been linked model Bella Hadid for nearly a year. As with many young couples in Hollywood, breakup rumors seem to be a normal part of their relationship, so let's see if these two lovebirds are still kicking it. Are The Weeknd and Bella Hadid still together?

News of their relationship came out when they were spotted hanging out at Coachella in April 2015, and E! News reported the scoop a few weeks later. In a Rolling Stone interview in October, The Weeknd confessed that he had noticed Hadid and was interested in meeting her: "I actually asked her to be on the artwork for Beauty Behind the Madness... My motive was literally to work with her." Hadid initially declined but he persisted, "I was like, 'All right, cool — we can meet up face-to-face.'" Clever, clever man.

Over the summer, the couple stayed fairly low-key, but would often post photos on their respective social media pages hinting that there was something going on between them. While he was busy blowing up on the music scene, Hadid was also coming into her own as a successful model, landing some pretty great gigs. So, with all this history said, are they still together?

All signs point to The Weeknd and Hadid still going strong, and they might actually be making it to a year very soon! The first time the two were rumored to have broken up was over the Christmas holidays when Hadid was spotted going on vacation with her mom, Yolanda Foster, and sister, Gigi. Very quickly, TMZ dispelled the rumors, saying she just wanted to spend quality time with her family and that she and the Weeknd have never been super, super clingy to each other, which is healthy, if you ask me. Although they spent the holidays apart, they checked in with each other and were spotted getting cozy at LIV Nightclub in Miami before New Year's Eve.

Fast forward to February 2016, and Hollywood Life reported that things were getting serious, claiming, “Bella and Abel have decided to take the next step in their romance and move in with one another. Over the last few months their relationship has really progressed, and she has particularly been happy with how supportive he’s been with her mom Yolanda.” Hmm, well, they may or may not be moving in together, but it at least seems like things are still going well between these two.

In early February, the couple was spotted enjoying dinner at Craig's Restaurant in West Hollywood, so it's safe to say they are still very much together and enjoying time together during this little break. Here's hoping we catch a glimpse of this hot couple at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 15!
