The Results of His Toxicology Report Are...

by Ivy Jacobson

This just isn't Justin Bieber's week. Or month. Or year, to be exact. On Thursday, Justin Bieber's toxicology report shows that weed and Xanax were in his system when he was arrested on Jan. 23. The 19-year-old singer was tested immediately after he was arrested for a DUI, resisting arrest, and driving with an expired license. (He's now only being charged for resisting arrest.)

Bieber's toxicology report tested positive for THC and Alprazolam, according to TMZ.

THC is found in marijuana and Alprazolam is the main ingredient in Xanax, which is a prescription medication that treats anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Bieber tested negative for cocaine, opiates, and meth, among other drugs. The toxicology report is consistent with his police report, where Bieber told police that he smoked weed that night, and that his mother, Pattie Mallette, gave him the Xanax.

On Wednesday, Bieber pleaded not guilty to his charge. His arraignment in Miami is on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, but does not need to be present.

Keep in mind that Bieber is also facing assault charges in Toronto when he got arrested for the second time in two weeks on Wednesday, for another incident, in another country. He apparently assaulted a limousine driver in about a month ago. Lovely and necessary, I'm sure. Bieber is also still facing the consequences of his egging of his neighbor’s house and could be charged with felony vandalism.

With all of these arrests, drag racing, music video shooting, and going on vacation to Panama, how does Justin Bieber even have time to egg houses and meet girls? It truly boggles my mind. It's getting to the point of no return with Bieber's reputation and career, especially since over 100,000 Americans officially want him deported back to Canada. However, his Beliebers will always stand by his side — but may have to do so from another part of North America soon.
