Guess Who's Probably Doing Zendaya's Grammy Makeup

by Kali Borovic

When you've got as much beauty skill as this girl, it only makes sense that you might take your makeup into your own hands for big events. Zendaya will reportedly do her own Grammys makeup this year, according to InStyle, and it just makes me love her even more. This won't be the first time that she's stepped out onto a red carpet rocking a look that's all her own. Zendaya is a true style original — as if rocking every hair style under the sun, slaying the makeup game, and being one of the youngest and most influential feminists out there wasn't enough!

She didn't tell the publication what look she was going for, but if it's anything like her previous Grammys makeup, then we're in for a treat. The singer did reportedly tell InStyle that she would be using CoverGirl's Plumpify Mascara, though, so you know it'll be all about the lashes. Zendaya has a knack for always switching it up on the red carpet, but this time I'm even more excited to see what she'll come up with. She's mentioned before that she does her own red carpet makeup frequently, and if that's the case, I honestly can't tell the difference between when she works with a professional and when she goes it alone.

In celebration of her upcoming 2016 Grammys appearance, let's look back at her first Grammys outfit. It's hard to imagine that she was only 17-year-old at the time.

Zendaya combined edgy and sweet to make for one stand-out look. How she managed to pull off these fierce and feminine vibes so naturally is beyond me.

She rocked a makeup look that was somehow fresh faced and edgy, pairing a heavy smoky eye with a gorgeous nude lip and some high-wattage highlight.

Her hair also followed suit. It was intensely slicked back at the crown and flowed down her back.

Just look at her glowing skin!

If this is what she looked like at her first Grammys, then I can't wait to see what she steps out in this year.
