Rihanna Sent Some New PUMA Shoes Down The Runway

Everyone flipped out when Rihanna partnered with PUMA and released her Creeper sneakers in fall of 2015. They were sold out almost instantly, and since have been coveted by stars and fans alike. This is how the Platform Creeper came into the fashion spotlight, and now everybody is wondering when they are going to be released into this world!

In the past months since the regular Creeper's release, RiRi has created and designed a new collection of Japanese-influenced Urban Atheisure — and a new line of fresh kicks to go along with it. At the Fenty x PUMA show during NYFW this week, models Lexi Boling and Gigi and Bella Hadid, among others, rocked a combination of the platform shoes, knee-high branded boots, and hybrid sneaker-stilettos that caught everyone's eyes. In fact, the lace-up shoes provided one of the only pops of color in the creepy winter forest of the mirrored FiDi-centric runway. But, no one was complaining. Black and white never go out of style, and are the in-style colors for athletic wear this year.

Still, the Creepers are the most wearable of all of Rihanna's designs, so I'm not surprised to see a re-vamped version in this collection. These shoes are perfect for giving any look an edge; just take a page from Cara Delevingne's semi-controversial White House attire!

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you'll be able to get our paws on anything from the Fenty x Puma runway any time soon. The collection itself is set to launch in September, which will mark a year from the first Creeper release. So, it is likely that you won't see platform Creepers and the "coquettish sneaker heel," as Vogue describes them, until fall of this year. Ugh!
