Jennifer Lopez Skipped The Oscars Red Carpet

There's a universal rule out there that exists: Jennifer Lopez can do no fashion wrong, especially on the red carpet. Unfortunately, Jennifer Lopez wasn't on the 2016 Oscars Red Carpet, and I'm mourning over the bare-all dress that could've been. BRB, having withdrawals. Knowing her amazing sense of style and insane bod, I expect nothing less than super sexy from the singer-actress-multi-hyphenate.

This beauty stuns in pretty much every single red carpet. Can we talk about her Golden Globes 2016 dress, which nearly had me falling over? On the red carpet and at press events, she totally kills it in full-bodied skirts with thigh-high slits and insane cutouts, à la 2015 American Music Awards. That look was insane. Thank you, J Lo, for always keeping me in check.

Last year, Lopez stunned in a nude colored, beaded gown with a super fluffy tulle skirt. Let's not forget the plunging neckline, either. Looking fabulous and fierce is just in her DNA.

According to her Instagram, though, she was at the CAA party for Oscars weekend.

Where you at, J Lo? Probably just silently slaying out of plain view. Or, perhaps, working on her fitness, like this recent Instagram she posted?

Needless to say — she's missed. Lopez is one of the women that I'm always eager to see on the red carpet. She's one that isn't afraid to take fashion risks, and it totally pays off every single time. Her most killer asset? Her confidence. It's incredible to see her pull off these looks not only because she's smokin' hot, but also because of her unwavering confidence in herself. I have to imagine that wherever she is, she's flexing her confidence.
