Which Rihanna x Puma Trainers Should You Get?

If you have $180 burning a hole in your pocket, love copying Rihanna's style, are in the market for new kicks, and have some web shopping savvy, it's time to point and click! Why not scoop up a pair of the new Rihanna x Puma Trainers? It's super surprising, but these previously sold-out, fashion-y sneakers are again available in women's sizes on the Puma site. They are bound to go quick, unless Puma is further mass-producing and making them widely available indefinitely, whereas the Rihanna x Puma Creepers went quick and don't seem like they will be restocked. If you can only grab one color, based on avails or budget, which is the best investment? Which color Rihanna x Puma trainers should you buy?

Well, the shoes come in three shades: black, white, and red. All three options are certainly worthwhile and fashionable. These sneakers have a very casual look and they are the epitome of athleisure. But they are so effortlessly cool. You can also dress them up with a pair of leather leggings or rock them with a pair of destroyed, dark wash skinnies.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with purchasing any of the colors. They are that versatile and go with anything. But here are some things to think about.

You can go black-on-black or black-on- white. The black pair is my personal favorite, since it's the only color I wear (save for some blue denim). Plus, this silhouette and shade are classic and simple. You don't see as much of the shoe's detail in the black edition, but there is still a subtle chicness to this version. Notice these look a bit like booties.

The Rihanna x Puma Trainers morph into more of a trendy, statement shoe in this expressive, bold hue. Try rocking the red pair with an all-black outfit, along with red lips and tips, as in your fingernails. You can really make the red pair "your own" with that move. That said, these will dress up any monochromatic ensemble you pair them with.

To my eyes, the white version looks a bit futuristic. Maybe add a white pair to an all-black outfit? That's totally fashionable. Or you can actually rock them with leggings when running post-gym errands. That wouldn't be unheard of.

That said, I don't recommend delaying or going back and forth inside your own brain for too, too long when choosing a color. Just do it, to borrow a phrase form sneaker giant Nike. Recent celeb x sneaker collabo history —um, hi Yeezy Boost Pirate Black 350s— tells us these Trainers are bound to be hard-to-find sooner than later. Plus, you might end up being the only person in the room rocking them. So who cares what color they are, since you'll have managed to bag a fashion unicorn.

Need some inspo on how to rock the Rihanna x Puma Trainers, once you nab a pair? Take it from the brand's Creative Director. They look like booties when worn with a dress and statement necklace. Don't you love how the kicks match the Puma font in her dress? You have so many matching options with whatever shade you chose.
