Ruby Rose & Urban Decay Are A Match Made In Heaven

I’ve got four words for you. Ruby Rose. Urban Decay. The kick butt and take names later actress and beauty brand are joining forces to become the ultimate duo. That's right — Ruby Rose is officially the face of Urban Decay. OK, so the job title is actually much cooler than that. Rose is technically the “Most Addictive New Vice” of the brand. What does that mean, exactly? The brand’s being pretty vague on the specifics of the role, but Wende Zomir, Urban Decay’s Founder, did say in a press release, “Better things come to those who wait — just give it time.” So, I’m just, you know, impatiently waiting over here!

Zomir also mentioned that the brand’s been waiting 20 years for something this amazing to come along, so UDers surely won’t be disappointed. For now, all we know is Rose will be representing UD by “rocking our world and spreading the gospel of [Urban Decay's] self-expression, addiction to color, and 'beauty with an edge,'” according to a press release. Something with this much bad-assery was made for the actress, meaning this partnership a no-brainer, especially for a brand that’s all about self-expression. Individualism is what Rose admired about the UD way, too.

“Urban Decay believes in supporting individuality and personal self-expression— two values I hold very dear— because everyone deserves the freedom to explore their personality and discover their true selves,” said Rose. And if that can be done while rocking some bold eyeshadow and a killer lip shade, then so be it, you know?

This role was practically designed for Ruby Rose. Slay, girl, slay.
