River Island's Plus Size Line Is Coming Soon

It's quickly turning out to be the year of positive change, as the fashion world is making major strides towards size inclusivity and body positivity. River Island is launching a plus size collection, following in the footsteps of other brands such as Forever 21 and Rachel Roy, that have also expanded their size range. It seems the fashion industry is finally starting to realize that there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all. So when does River Island's plus size clothing come out? Fortunately, you won't have to wait long at all.

The British fast fashion retailer is known for bringing on-trend gorgeous styles to the masses for affordable prices, and that has definitely translated into their plus size range as well, because the clothes are really pretty. The collection includes 75 stunning styles ranging from size 18 to 24, and encompasses classic wardrobe staples like striped tee shirts and distressed denim, as well as more unique pieces such as printed co-ords and bold patterned dresses.

The brand tapped plus size It-girl and fashion favorite, Candice Huffine, to front the campaign, which seems like a natural fit as the model is a huge fan of the label. Huffine raved over the new collection, saying, "It's clear from the designs that they have been made to suit a curvy woman's body," Huffington Post reports.
