by Emily Lackey

If you thought the all that obsession with Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens had finally died down, you're definitely mistaken. Just as the movie is starting to leave the theaters and head to greener pastures (aka DVD and Blu-Ray release), it was announced on Tuesday that a Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens making-of documentary will be premiering at South by Southwest (SXSW), the annual festival in Austin, Texas. According to Variety, the new film is called Secrets of ‘The Force Awakens’: A Cinematic Journey, and it sounds absolutely awesome. But, I know what you’re thinking: What am I supposed to do if I can’t make it to this year’s SXSW? Where can I watch the Star Wars documentary without having to travel to Texas?

Well, fans, you are in luck, because the documentary is not just for festival-goers. Sure, they’ll have first dibs at seeing the film, which includes interviews with visual effects supervisor Roger Guyett, supervising sound editor Matthew Wood, and co-producer Michelle Rejwan — but there is still a chance for Star Wars fans everywhere to see the documentary. If you buy the Blu-Ray combo pack or DVD of The Force Awakens (set for release on April 5), you'll find it included in the set as bonus footage. That’s one sure-fire way to see the documentary that lets fans go behind-the-scenes and see all of the hard work that went into making Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens a reality.

Even better, that’s not the only way to view this masterpiece. If waiting until April 5 to watch the documentary is too much, fans can watch the movie as early as April 1 — it'll also will be available on digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere four days before the Blu-Ray combo pack and DVD are released on April 5.
