Spring is 100 percent here, and that means it's time to lose the beanie and rock beachy waves and soft 'dos. To get the hottest looks, reach for these natural hair products you need for spring! The term "natural" can be a little tricky on labels, but I've broken down how to truly find natural products, and shared some of absolute favorites.

As shared on Byrdie, the term "natural" isn't regulated by the FDA, and can be used as a marketing term on any cosmetic or beauty product. So, how the heck do determine which products actually don't contain potentially harmful chemicals? Turn to the ingredient list!

When a product is listed as natural or organic, don't take it at face value. Turn to the back of the bottle and see what is actually in there. Juju Salon explained on their blog that, ideally, a product listed as natural will be free of synthetic chemicals. If a "natural" hair product has parabens, propylene glycol, olefin sulfate, or sodium lauryl sulfate (which can cause cataracts in adults), JuJu advised to put it back on the shelf.

If you're ever in doubt about the safety of a certain natural hair product or ingredient, hop onto EWG and search it. The database has an extensive list of safety rankings so you can always feel good about what you buy.

Fortunately, I've already done all the research work for you with these natural hair products for spring.
