JoJo's Brothers Are Missing On 'The Bachelor'

The families of Bachelor contestants don’t always love what their brethren have gotten into. I can see why — going on The Bachelor for true love is like going to a fast food restaurant for healthy food. It seems like you can do it, but the efforts are eventually futile. On this season of The Bachelor , Ben Higgins visited JoJo Fletcher’s family in Texas, and, well, let’s just say that things didn’t go too well with her brothers. On The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, Chris Harrison showed both Lauren’s and JoJo’s families, and just JoJo’s parents were there. Why aren’t JoJo’s brothers at The Bachelor live finale?

JoJo’s brothers are very protective of their younger sister, so it’s not a surprise that they basically told Ben he was selling snake oil and that he couldn’t possibly love their sister. They told Ben he was “brainwashing” the girls. Yeah, it was as awkward as you’d think it would be. Even though JoJo’s brother, Ben, has been on a “find love” reality show himself, he essentially assumed that Bachelor Ben was lying about the whole love thing. It wasn’t the nail in the coffin for Ben’s relationship with JoJo, thankfully, but it was definitely an uncomfortable situation.

So, what does it all mean? If anything, the absence of JoJo’s brothers means that Ben and JoJo do not get hitched, because wouldn’t the brothers show up if they knew their sister was getting married on national television? JoJo’s brothers may not approve of being on The Bachelor, but JoJo’s family is super close, so I would think that they would show up for JoJo if she was getting married. Is it a sign of things to come on The Bachelor finale? We’ll have to wait and see, but I think the fact that JoJo’s brothers are missing means that JoJo is not going home with a ring.
