Twitter Reacts To Ben's Engagement Ring

Another season of The Bachelor has once again ended in an emotionally packed engagement, with Ben Higgins proposing to Lauren Bushnell during the finale. While everyone watching was literally on pins and needles waiting for Higgins to choose between the final two women Lauren B. and JoJo Fletcher, we at least knew what The Bachelor 's engagement ring looked like before Higgins popped the question and asked Bushnell to marry him.

"I never want to say goodbye to you!" Higgins said. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You're my person!" The sparkler that Higgins offered to his new fiancé is a beautiful emerald-cut diamond ring by Neil Lane that is reportedly worth $100,000. The platinum setting features baguette diamonds surrounding a four-carat center stone. Lane has been responsible for some of The Bachelor's memorable engagement rings, including Kaitlyn Bristowe's and Catherine Giudici's, but this season's bling truly took it to the next level.

However, there were mixed reactions not only to the engagement ring, but to Higgins dumping fan favorite Fletcher for Bushnell. Let's just say that some of the netizens' rage were directed at the ring even though it truly deserved a little more love. Here's a closer look at the diamond stunner.
